Motorsport — like every technical sport — is expensive. To compete on equal terms, I need funds and resources. What do I mean? There were seasons when the budget didn’t allow brand-new sticky tires for every race, times when we couldn’t install a part because it was too costly, and times when I had to prepare in less-than-ideal conditions. Deciding what to spend on and when has many factors if you want to keep the conditions fair. On the bright side, these experiences taught me how to win on worn tires or deliver a strong qualifying — something not everyone can say. If everything is always perfect, you don’t learn to perform in tough situations. I’m grateful for my journey and the lessons it gave me.
